Before the 2000s the band’s name was ,,Acid Company”. This year it is celebrating its 15th birthday. They had released their first album playing acid jazz/jazz funk music as ,,United”,  which brought many awards for them. Until 2015 they have released 5 albums and many singles. Members of the band are Áron Romhányi, Gergő Mits, Balázs Potesz and Barna Pély, who also known from the Hungarian Talent Show called “Megasztár”.

Mary Popkids

A BAND of the NEAR FUTURE. Mary PopKids is an alternative pop band from Budapest, Hungary. The band of eight is being recognized for their inventive music videos and eclectic live shows mixing soul, funk and electronic music, as well as comparisons to bands like Foster the People and Imagine Dragons. In the last few years they have played at most of Hungary’s music festivals (including Sziget and VOLT) and held sold out shows at Budapest’s best clubs (e.g. Akvárium and A38 Boat – voted the best bar in the world by Lonely Planet). In 2013 they were also invited to play at Prague’s United Islands Festival and Vienna’s Brut theatre.

The band reached its present form in 2009. In 2015 they released a new album. recognized The band plays an important role in the Hungarian alternative music life today. Characteristically they have harder themes, their purpose is to start a dialogue between the band and the public. For them the Message is always on the first place.

Magashegyi Underground

The band has been formed in 2004. Today they are one of the most recognized alternative band in Hungary, that among others gived a concert at many festivals, such as Fezen Festival in Székesfehérvár, at Campus Festival  in Debrecen, at EFOTT in Velence and at Sziget, too. The band leader is Bíborka Bocskor,who we have seen before in the one of the Hungarian Talent Shows.
